A 5.5" short with a supportive compression liner and enough storage to leave the vest at home. Five and a half inches is the perfect length. Storage is plentiful with big compression pockets on both thighs and one in the rear for all your stashing needs. The liner and outer short hit at the same spot on your leg so you don't have that bizarre long liner look but you still get a nice pop of color when you're moving. 

Storage and style, wow. They have a knit waistband with an external drawcord, built to lie flat against the body and minimize chafing when wearing a running belt. The custom webbing down the side is a nod to the absolute drip of 90s soccer.
