Created to mark an anniversary of Tokyo Athletic Club, the jersey traded the club’s usual colors for something considerably louder. An all-over zebra pattern was paired with a deep red No. 10, Japanese flag at the back neck and the club crest at the chest.

The sort of commemorative shirt that was never meant to blend in, imagined from an era when football kits were beginning to find a life well beyond the pitch.
